An explanation of cricket
Cricket is one of the most famous games which is loved by many people around the world. People in India are crazy about cricket. It is played on the ground with a rectangular court in the center. This is a game of bat and ball. Cricket is played between two teams of 11 players. Depending on the toss, one of the teams decides to hit or ball first. The team that bats first must create a target for the opposing team to score a goal. The opposing team must try to take the goal and limit the course of the hitting team. The bat’s position changes after each end. A bowler must bowl six times to finish the one above.
The batsman has to stand in front of the goal to hit and has to preserve the three stumps which are also known as wickets from the ball to hit it. If the bowl touches the wicket than the batsman is declared out (dismissed). There are many other ways to get rid of a batsman. If a field player catches the ball before it hits the ground than the batsman is out. A goalkeeper can touch the ball for the wicket when the batsman does not fold, the batsman will be declared out. Also the batsman can be declared out if the ball has touched the wicket before the batsman has entered the fold while taking the run.
This game is played mainly in South Africa, the Indian subcontinent, Australia, West Indies and England. The International Council (ICC) and Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) maintain the Cricket Law and for Test matches and the One Day International Law are also defended by them with additional Standard Terms of Play. This is a game where the players obey the “Spirit of the Game”.

If the bowl reaches the limit (the circle drawn by the rope at the end of the ground) hits the ground than that is known as four runs straight and if the bowl hit by the batsman goes straight beyond the limit without touching the ground than that is stated as six runs. A batsman cannot attempt more runs after four or six runs have been declared by the referee. If the wickets of the 10 players of the hitting team have been drawn or after the set over is complete than the innings are finished. The run scored by the hitting team is awarded as the target to score for the opposing team with one more run, after the completion of the inning.
